A Moment for Gratitude

Good evening friends,

Tonight, Upper Arlington re-affirmed our commitment to every student, and we did it together!

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for believing in my ability to carry our message and casting your vote for the future we share. Your voice counted for something bigger than one race: our community’s values, our neighborhoods, and the schools we want for every child.

To everyone who gave time, treasure, and talent, those who knocked doors, made calls, hosted gatherings, displayed yard signs, chipped in, and showed up, I am humbled by and so grateful for your active participation.

To our campaign team, thank you for your tireless commitment, the hours away from your families, your generous contributions of unique talents and perspectives, and your grace under pressure. I am so proud of us. You exemplified integrity, grit, and love for this community.

This campaign stood for the promise of public education, responsible governance, courageous oversight, and a relentless focus on student outcomes. That doesn’t end tonight. It begins a new chapter.

I’d like to congratulate Kip Greenhill - I am looking forward to what we can do together! I also want to thank Lou Sauter for his service to our community. Our district is stronger because of those willing to step up, serve, and bring their perspective to this important work.

Thank you for the confidence you’ve placed in me. Let’s keep showing our children what a united, forward-looking community can do, together.
